Ghajini will re-release in cinemas

Ghajini is slated for another release this year after the movie was a huge blockbuster the previous year. Producer Madhu Mantena has decided to re-release the Aamir Khan starrer one more time in the first week of april. The movie will be released with a marketing effort of “more footage”. That means one would get to see more muscular Aamir with more memory loss. Apparently the producer asked Aamir what he thought of the strategy and Aamir was all for it.

Ghajini encore will see a huge benefit of the on-going strike and so many people wouldt have an option but to watch the film. The movie will release throughout India . "We'll go for a full-fledged release with about 200 prints. Hopefully, this time we'll again create some ripples."

Asin’s hands are full after the stupendous success of ‘Ghijini’. Her career is on an upward swing, and the schedule is keeping her on her toes. After hitting it big opposite aamir khan
, her next co-star is another Khan-Biggie. Salman will woo the south Indian beauty in ‘London Dreams’. The lucky chance makes her wish for a hat-trick. Keeping her fingers crossed, she says about shah rukh khan
, “He seems to be a very charming person. I hope something comes up soon!” This also brings in Khan-comparisons, to which Asin reacts “You can’t compare them. They are poles apart and yet similar. The common factor is that they are both genuine people.” Having described her heroes, when asked about herself, her eyes twinkle and she quips, “I know it sounds a bit corny, but I would say I am sugar, spice and everything nice.” Any news of any complimentary presence in her spicy life, and she laughs, “At the moment, the only man in my life is my dad!”

After Ghajini south actress Asin has another huge project coming up for her. London Dreams in which she will be seen along with Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan is another biggie for the Bollywood debutant. Asin says that she’s received a warm welcome from Bollywood and the entire industry.
“I was approached for ‘London Dreams’ while I was shooting for ‘Ghajini’. I don’t know how they found out about me. I have just finished a long schedule of shooting the film abroad and some of it is still left.” – says Asin later adding “But I feel I have received a very warm welcome to Bollywood. Both my initial projects are with good banners, actors and filmmakers. I feel lucky and blessed,”
There have been many debutants in the year 2008 like Genelia D’Souza, Anushka Sharma and many more and its going to be quite a battle to top for all these newcomers and 2009 is the battlefield

Shah Rukh is scared to work with me: Aamir

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has said Shah Rukh Khan is scared to work with him and that is why they do not do any films together. “Actually Shah Rukh feels scared to work with me. I often say let's do a movie together but he always rejects (the offer), ” Aamir told the television channel IBN7 in an interview scheduled for telecast Dec 24. Recently, Shah Rukh sparked a controversy by proclaiming himself the biggest brand and saying there cannot be any competition with him.While Aamir has a strained relation with Shah Rukh, his favourite actress happens to be Juhi Chawla, who is a close associate and business partner with Shah Rukh.“There are many good actresses but the one I like the most is Juhi. She is a great actress, ” Aamir said. These days, Aamir is busy promoting his film “Ghajini”, which is scheduled for release Dec 25.Asked about the kind of movies he wants to do in future, the actor said: “I always want to do movies which touch my heart and are totally different or based upon new subjects. I always want to surprise my audience.” Though Aamir has worked with many reputed filmmakers he revealed that his favourite director is his cousin Mansoor Khan with whom he did "Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak", "Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander" and "Akele Hum Akele Tum".“It's my good luck that I have had a chance to work with all good directors. But my favourite director is Mansoor Khan, my brother. I have done three movies with him, ” he said. In “Akele Hum...”, Aamir starred opposite Manisha Koirala. The actor says he took more retakes for "Akele Hum..." than for any other film in his career.“In this movie there was a song - 'Aisa zakhm diya hai'. I took 40-50 retakes for it, ” he revealed.

Far off in Palanpur where Himesh Reshamiyya is shooting for John Mathew's A New Love Ishtory the musician-actor can't believe what he has heard.At a press conference on Thursday Aamir Khan went out of his way to praise Himesh calling him a master of marketing. "So much so that wherever and whenever I see a topi I think of Himesh, " said Aamir. Though a lot of people felt Aamir was being ironical Himesh of course chooses to take the seeming compliments on their face value."I am a huge fan of Mr Aamir Khan. He's a legend. And what a coincidence that I'm shooting for a film where I play a tapori who's a big fan of Aamir Khan. The role is inspired by Mr Khan in Rangeela. In fact my director is John Mathew who directed Mt Khan in Sarfarosh. Both of us just can't stop talking about him."Himesh's exuberance apart, many people feel Aamir was actually making a sarcastic point, praising Himesh for his marketing strategy at a time when it (the strategy) seems to have collapsed."Or did Aamir praise Himesh because Himesh is playing a role inspired by Aamir?" asked one of Aamir's co-stars. Says Himesh, "If Mr Khan has spoken so well about me I won't even think of questioning it. I take his words as a big compliment.. I've been hearing some terrific stories about Mr Khan's dedication from John Matthew. I must say he's very very inspiring."
