The latest from the Big B’s den is that the mega star will be making a semi-autobiography type of film for Kushan Nandy. The name of the film is tentatively titled ‘The Actor’ and is written with Amitabh in mind, the film is produced by Pritish Nandy Communications and will begin shooting next month. ‘The Actor’ will be the most autobiographical film till date having real life incidents from his life.
Confirming the news, Amitabh said “Yes, I'm doing a film for Pritish Nandy (Kushan's father). The details you'll have to get from him.”
“When my son came up with 'The Actor', I knew this was it. I immediately approached Amitabh. We met several times and he agreed.” says Pritish Nandy. The rest of the cast is now being finalized but the lead has to be an icon that’s about 50-60 years old.
