Has India really changed? We are busy criticizing Slumdog Millionaire for showing India in poor light and are even ready to bash up those who defend the film saying it shows reality. As they say in our Bollywood movies – Sach hamesha kadwa hota hai (truth is always bitter). It is difficult for us to digest the fact that an outsider came to India and showed the world the non-photoshoped, non-filtered images of contemporary India.
