Farhan Akthar has been really busy acting and facing the camera, so much so that he’s forgotten all about directing. But now Farhan Akthar has decided to get back in the director’s seat with Don 2.Farhan Akthar will cast Shahrukh Khan & Priyanka Chopra in the lead and will be produced by Excel Entertainment. But Akthar has no plans of doing it this year, he plans on directing the sequel in April 2010, so there’s still a long way to go for this film to hit the screens.Farhan was quoted saying that he likes to direct films but only one film at a time. Like the gap between the each film is almost around 2 – 3 years and he likes it that way. Dil Chahta Hai was in 2001, his next film Lakshya was in 2004 and Don was in 2006 and now Don 2 in 2010.
Don 2 will take off from where Don ended, which was nothing like the original Don with Amitabh Bachchan. And so just like the unexpected ending in the original version you can be sure that Don 2 will blow you away.
