Amitabh Bachchan’s fans are organizing prayers for the fast recovery o the Indian superstar. Amitabh Bachchan or the Big B as he is commonly known was admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital.Later the doctors shifted him to Mumbai’s main super specialty hospital, Lilavati Hospital. Hawans are already being organized by Big B fans for his speedy recovery. His Muslim admirers are also organizing duas for the superstar.
Indian superstar who is undisputed badshah of the Bollywood, India’s film industry for the last not one or two years but around forty years is revered by a large number of his fans across the country.The way his just concluded world tour, ‘Unforgettable Tour’ got wild response from audience in Canada and the United States gives an inkling how he is loved by his admirers.A few months ago Amitabh Bachchan started his blog. The blog gets millions of visitor every month and hundreds of responses daily from people across the globe.Around three years ago too the Indian megastar spent quite a few days for some intestinal problem. In November 2005, Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to Lilavati Hospital's ICU and underwent surgery for diverticulitis of the small intestine.This occurred after Bachchan complained of pains in his abdomen some days prior. During the period and that following his recovery, most of his projects were put on hold, including the television show he was in the process of hosting, Kaun Banega Crorepati. Amitabh returned to work in March 2006.Following the spreading of the news of Amitabh Bachchan’s ill health a large number of fans and media persons gathered outside the superstar's house 'Jalsa' and also outside Nanavati hospital. The Bachchans are regular at the Lilavati Hospital. Many Bollywood stars undergo treatment there and last month Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama was also admitted there.
